  1. Folders for Training Plans

This would be helpful to reduce the clutter of having all training plans in one big alpha-ordered list. The coach could then place plans in created folders tailored to their coaching, ie. 5K Plan folder, 10K Plan folder, Marathon Plan folder. It will allow for quicker access and just better organization.

  2. Lead magnet email sequence

I have lots of lead magnets on my website and would like to set up an email sequence to send out once they have downloaded it to either lead them to buy coaching services or buy a training plan. I know I can do this in mailing software but thought this might be a useful addition to the TrainingTilt site. Plus it could give templates as writing sequences is hard! Thanks

  3. Allow an athlete to set training availability times on the calendar

Sometimes an athlete knows in advance if they aren't going to be able to train as usual due to work, vacation etc. If the athlete, or Coach, could block out part of the calendar with specific details it would help with forward planning

  5. Calendar Appointment Booking

Many of our coaches need to book one on one appointments with their clients. Some handle this manually going back and forth with email, others use tools like Calendly so it's mostly automated in terms of matching available slots and can be integrated with platforms like Zoom. This is a feature that could get very complicated with linking to calendars to automatically determine availability. Our version would be very simple at least to start with. The ability for the coach to create availability slots and for someone to book them which would then block off that time, then send an meeting request to both parties via email. Later on we might implement automatic availability by reading the coaches Google calendar and also Integrating with Zoom to automatically generate meeting links.

  6. Scheduling option for messages from coach to athlete

In order to keep athletes on track and maintain consistency as far as possible, check ins can a one of the great way to remind athletes towards the end of the eve if they have been missing their workouts. I am not sure if this will need altogether a new feature or can be combined with anything else, but having such system will greatly help coaches to make their coaching systems better. Though everyone doesn't need this, most of the recreational athletes will need this and that proportion goes to almost 95 %, so seems important option to consider if we can. Some of the options I can suggest are - -Adding normal plain text chats -Ability to send audio notes quickly so that it can save time -Most importantly scheduling option for both of the above messages so they keep on firing even when coaches are busy in sessions or any other personal liabilities. Maybe adding general check in option for how their previous week looks like can be one option which can not be added against specific workouts and another can be added against workouts of that day in order to keep them on track if they are missing that. Definitely there will be some scenarios where they will have to let go the sessions but the point is it should not be a miss due to any bullshit reason.

  7. Indicator of where a workout originates

On a training plan or athlete calendar a workout can be linked to a workout from a training plan or the core workout library. There is no easy way to tell what workouts originate from these parent locations and what workouts are unique to the current view. An indicator showing the root source of the workout would be helpful here.

  8. iCal Link for events calendar so people can subscribe to the calendar in their own personal calendars

iCal is a technology that lets people add external calendars to their own calendars like Google and Outlook etc. This makes it easier for people to keep up to date with any events coaches have added to their events calendar.

  9. sync calendar with google calendar

A great feature would be a sync with other calendars like google calendar. Therefor a sync would be needed. I'm thinking that clients manage their work and private life via calendars. In order to support the client with a better time-management it would be great if tt provides an sync with other calendars so the client can schedule the trainings in his calendar and see if he is available for private appointments. Such a feature is implemented in Polar flow. If the sync to flow.polar is implemented that feature would work for Polar users.

  10. Allow coaches to add athletes to social groups and events

When I have a group training program, I would like to use social groups however i have found that athletes don't join them because it's an extra step. Also same feature for events. CL

  11. Periodisation Planning

There is a lot that could go into this, and I am sure people have different perspectives on how they plan. For me I like to see a long timeline, with the major events on the timeline. I don't like to over plan the big picture, instead the main aim is to provide athletes with an idea of how training will evolve and how much time you have to do certain trying types. Attached is a screen capture of a sample excel spreadsheet I use for planning. Its a little clunky but it enables me to see the 'big picture'. Ie, 6 weeks of endurance, then block of FTP development etc. More specifics for the individual disciplines, where a camp might fit, testing, if we need to do any heat work etc. I can all be planned in on a easy to see picture. Then the actually sessions occur in the block much closer to the time. Ideally this big picture then translates key points onto the calendar so when you plan it, you can see the ideas. Training Peaks ATP is in my opinion a terrible tool, that requires too much work for too little benefit, and only focusses on the overall load. The ATP for me is also about the events or interventions that need to happen and how they work with the plan. When an athlete has holiday for example.

  12. Client Invitation Template

Hi, Please would it be possible to create client invitation templates that you can click on when you send an invitation? It would save time having to keep creating a new email every time. Thanks Karen

  13. Ability for athletes to share planned and completed workouts to help promote the coaching business

WE plan on adding sharing tools so athletes can share planned and completed workouts with their audience via links and social media. This would help promote the coaching business. The share would include an autogenerated image of the workout with the coaches branding and contact details. We would also use this feature to promote Training Tilt so some sort of "Powered by Training Tilt" aspect would also be included. As always though the coaching business would be more prominent. This would be a configurable option that coaches on our paid plans who would prefer that their clients do not share would be able to toggle it on and off.

  15. Structure for building strength workouts

Idea is to keep the strength workouts in a structured form as well instead of just adding things in terms of description. Whenever strength workout is selected as a type, there should be change appearing on screen while adding workout like rows and columns. Rows will be for each exercise details Columns can be -Exercise name (where there should be the ability to select particular exercise added centrally either in library or in videos whatever it can be) -Sets -Rep count (there should be the ability to set this reps based on either counter as 1-20 or something and also the ability to set them based on the duration like 10 secs of particular exercise or 30 secs of particular exercise) -Rest ratio between each set and between variation of exercises Time under tension This could be used for any type of workouts like strength, mobility, yoga, flexibility, etc.
